Apex DVD Players
One of the premier products of the Apex DVD players is their Apex AD-1500 DVD Player. It combines remarkable design and high functionality with all the accessories that you need. It plays DVD-SVCD-CD-CD/R-CD/RW and MP3, and features DTS, NTSC and PAL video outputs, programmable playback sequence, parental lock, and more. It is equipped with composite- and S-video outputs that deliver optimal compatibility with almost all the home theaters. When it is connected with a compatible receiver, its coaxial digital-audio output offers Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound.
The playback options consist of a built-in screen saver, two step zoom, two-step zoom, chapter/track programmable memory, frame-by-frame advance, support for multiple captions and angles, slow- and fast-motion forward, and parental locking.
Another Apex DVD product is AD-2500 Progressive-Scan DVD Player.
It has the progressive scanning tool which makes the clear video image. It also creates images using double the scan lines of an ordinary DVD picture thus delivering a higher resolution and clearer images and simultaneously eliminating almost all the motion artifacts. The state-of-art video outputs help minimize the line scan and digital artifacts on the compatible advanced television sets, while its composite and S-video outputs make it compatible with almost all TV sets. There is an output each for composite-video, S-video, and component-video on the back panel.
It is quite affordable and is equipped with high-end progressive-scan component-video outputs, built-in MP3, WMA (Windows Media Audio), HDCD decoding, and a dual-laser pickup for compatibility with not only DVD, VCD, SVCD and CD, but also CD-R and CD-RW. It even plays JPEG-encoded picture discs and doubles up as a karaoke machine.
There are two sets of left-right analog-audio outputs route the audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. The optical digital audio output channels with both the Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround-sound signals for direct connection to a full featured audio and video receiver.
There is a 96 kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog converter that ensures maximal optimal decoding of all disc formats by using a 20 bit encoding method to create a fabulous sound the like of which is not possible through standard CDs. The playback options consist of AFF (Apex Full-Screen Function), zoom (2x, 4x), frame advance, slow-motion forward and reverse, fast-motion forward, and programmable playback sequencing. The DVD player also includes a composite-video AV cable, an instruction manual, and an infrared remote control.
