Amplifiers

By definition, amplifiers are signal-processing units, which increase the power of your audio signal to a great extent. Audio amplifiers amplify the signal from the sound mixer into speaker output.

If great sound quality is a prerequisite for your audio system, chances are you use amplifiers. Audio amplifiers are electronic amps, which increase low power audio into the levels loudspeakers need. Audio amplifiers are used to amplify sound in cars, guitars, etc. and there are many types of amplifiers available for different uses. Basically, an amplifier improves sound quality so that you can listen to the right sound. In an orchestra, it will let you listen to each instrument clearly. Amplifiers can be controlled and operated to produce the kind of sound you want.

Guitar amplifiers are electronic design and usually used with electric guitars. You can’t use an electric guitar amplifier as an acoustic amplifier. When a signal passes through the guitar amplifier, it is intensified and sent to the speaker. Initially, amplifiers in bass guitars and electronic keyboards were popularly used. But since there are broader bandwidths and different ranges of speakers, amplifier power also varies as the low frequency pitch
Of bass guitars must be amplified. Guitar amplifiers are usually of the tube type or solid state. These make your guitars sound great. Even a mediocre guitar sound can sound good with a superior amp; but if your guitar sounds are great, a bad amplifier can spoil the sound.

Car amplifiers can make your long drives a pleasant experience by making your car speakers sound clearer and more detailed. Distortion is minimized. If you have higher power amplifiers, your speakers sound even better.
For PA systems, power amplifiers are used. Crown amplifiers are some of the most popular rack mountable power amplifiers delivering superior performance in various audio applications dependably at reasonable prices.
Another type of amplifier, the digital amplifier converts digital input in linear pulse code modulation or PCM format, converting it into pulse width modulation. Vox amplifiers are well known for their digital guitar amplifiers.

There are also headphone amplifiers available. These are small power amplifiers that are powered by battery. You can use these with your PC through the USB port connection. With amplifiers getting heavier and more powerful, there are a variety of amplifier stands to help you move them around easily.
